As I’ve refocused lately on collecting Pacers autographs, I’ve started writing letters to former players with my six year old son. We’ve enjoyed asking former players questions and look forward to hopefully receiving some responses to our questions, as well as some signed cards. Any response at all is exciting!
Mr. Fleming, a member of the Gold Medal winning 1984 US Olympic team, was kind enough to sign and return copies of his 1987-88 and 1988-89 Fleer cards. The 1988-89 set in particular looks great signed. Love those uniforms, and the fact that it’s the same set as Reggie Miller’s rookie card makes having a signed card of Reggie’s backcourt partner even better.
This was a quick return, arriving only 8 days after I sent it out. Vern’s been a great TTM signer over the years. My son was thrilled to see some mail with his name on it, and I have to say I was thrilled as well.
