This is a blog devoted to the basketball sports card hobby. I have built my collection of basketball cards and memorabilia over the years mainly through online trading, but also through ebay and the occasional local card show.
I’ve recently started sending Through the Mail (TTM) autograph requests and plan to document my successes and failures on this site as well.
The blog will also host the occasional commentary on league happenings. Enjoy!

Hi Ed,
I have not paid for any of the TTM requests I’ve received. Typically I send to players that are known to be decent signers. Some resources I can recommend:
http://sportscollectors.net – Creating a free account here will give you access to recent successes posted by members.
http://www.sportsgraphing.com/forum.php – A community with a message board where members post recent successes.
http://thebenchtrading.com – A great community that has a great group of autograph collectors that post recent successes as well.
The addresses used for requests vary, but typically for retired athletes I send to their home address, while active players I will send in care of the team during the season and if available, their home address during the offseason.
