Had a couple more recent autograph requests through the mail recently, and they happen to be two Pacers centers from the 2000s. The Pacers traded Brad Miller to the Sacramento Kings in 2003, and in return picked up a locker room favorite in the charismatic center Scot Pollard. #31 with other teams, he obviously couldn’t be #31 with the Pacers, so he went with 62. This makes the inscription on these two cards that much better.

The second center is one of my all-time favorites. Jeff Foster played his entire career with the Pacers, starting a little under half of them (345). Ferocious on the glass, he led the NBA in Offensive Rebounding rate (%) in back to back seasons, 2006-07 and 2007-08. He was simply a staple in the Pacer lineup.
Foster’s signature looks fantastic on both of these cards, and I was happy to see him address one of the autographs to my son, Will.
For my Pacers autograph project, the 2003-04 Pollard Bazooka and the 2003-04 Foster Fleer Platinum will go in the binder. I have one card per player in the binder, and at some point I’ll share. The Pollard replaces a 1999-00 Skybox Autographics, where he is pictured in a Kings uniform. The Foster replaces a 1999-00 Skybox Autographics as well, which moves to its spot in my Pacers rookie year binder.
